Designing Consistent Training for Equine Programs
Needs Analysis
Program Used: PDF Skills App
My roles: Needs Analyst and Instructional Designer
Problem: Complete Horses struggled with inconsistent grooming practices among staff, which increased the risk of safety incidents for both horses and handlers.

Solution: Using the Analysis phase of ADDIE, I conducted a needs analysis to identify the most critical skills and performance gaps, ensuring training objectives were aligned with both safety standards and organizational goals.
e-Learning Course
Program Used: Rise 360
My roles: Course Developer and Instructional Designer
Problem: The needs analysis revealed gaps in grooming knowledge, inconsistent practices, and limited time for hands-on training.
Solution: Applying the Design and Development phases, I built a course that provided scenario-based, interactive training, helping staff apply skills immediately while supporting organizational objectives.
Training Implementation
Programs Used: Rise 360, PDF Job Aids
My role: Trainer/Facilitator
Problem: Complete Horses risked ongoing safety issues and inconsistent care if grooming training wasn’t delivered effectively to staff.

Solution: Taking the Implementation role in ADDIE, I served as the trainer, guiding participants through the course, reinforcing objectives, and supporting application. This approach demonstrated how well-designed eLearning can be integrated into live training for measurable impact.
Problem: It was unclear whether learners were applying safe grooming skills in practice.
Solution: I designed an Evaluation framework that aligned with Kirkpatrick's model to assess learner confidence, behavior in the field, and the impact on horse safety and health.
Evaluation Plan
Program Used: Canva
My role: Instructional Designer
Interactive Learning for Responsible Classroom Pet Ownership
e-Learning Course
Program Used: Articulate Storyline
My role: Learning Experience Designer
Problem: Teachers introducing classroom pets often lacked structured, practical guidance, resulting in inconsistent care and missed learning opportunities.
Solution: Using the Analysis and Design phases of ADDIE, I developed a demo course that transformed essential pet care knowledge into clear, interactive instruction—ensuring training goals aligned with learner needs and organizational objectives.
Storyboard
Programs Used: Adobe Acrobat and PDF X
My roles: Instructional Designer and Storyboard Developer
Problem: Without a detailed plan, walkthroughs can become unfocused and fail to connect learning objectives with delivery.
Solution: Applying the Design phase of ADDIE, I created a storyboard that mapped content, visuals, and narration to ensure a seamless learning flow. This served as the blueprint for an effective, business-ready training walkthrough.
Instructional Video Walkthrough
Programs Used: Camtasia and Adobe Acrobat
My roles: Instructional Designer and Storyboard Developer
Problem: Even well-designed training can fall short if learners struggle to navigate or understand how to apply it.
Solution: Using the Development and Implementation phases of ADDIE, I produced a Camtasia walkthrough that demonstrated how the course would be delivered in practice—showcasing both the learner experience and the professional quality of the final product.
Building Resources for Conflict Management Training
ILT/VILT
Problem: Organizations needed conflict management training that was consistent, scalable, and easy for facilitators to deliver.
Solution: Using the ADDIE model, I Designed and Developed an ILT program for a trainer to facilitate discussions and activities that reinforced learning and ensured immediate application of the content.
Programs Used: Canva and PDF-X
My roles: Training Developer and Instructional Designer
Simplifying Digital Learning for Google Classroom Beginners
Step-by-Step Video Tutorial
Problem: New users of Google Classroom often felt unprepared and overwhelmed, limiting effective use of the platform.
Solution: Through the Design phase of ADDIE, developed a concise, targeted walkthrough that built user confidence and reduced onboarding barriers.
Program Used: Camtasia
My roles: Instructional Designer and E-Learning Developer
Creating a Storyboard to Support IXL Navigation and Use
eLearning Storyboard
Programs Used: Adobe Acrobat and PDF X
My roles: Instructional Designer and Storyboard Developer
Problem: New users often struggled with logging in and navigating IXL, leading to wasted time and frustration.
Solution: Using the Design phase of ADDIE, I created a storyboard that mapped out visuals, narration, and flow for a Camtasia walkthrough. This ensured the final tutorial would be clear, consistent, and easy to follow.
