Developing High-Visibility Messaging Through Billboard Design

Mobile Billboard Political Campaign (District 8, 2022 & 2024)

Programs Used: Canva

My role: Graphic Designer - DOOH / Billboard Advertising

Problem: Holzapfel and Darrow needed to influence broad audiences in public spaces while also providing personalized, tangible messaging that landed directly in voters’ homes.


Solution: I combined billboards (broad awareness) with mailers (direct engagement) to create a layered communication strategy to ensure both reach and depth for measurable behavior change.

Problem: Corporate participants needed clear direction and a professional impression to stay engaged during annual multi-day Waste Management Symposia.


Solution: I constructed billboard designs that strategically chunked information into memorable, high-contrast visuals that guided attention, promoted the companies, and reinforced their presence.

Problem: Traditional promotional materials failed to build anticipation across the Reigning Grace's event weekend.


Solution: I created vibrant billboard truck visuals that showcased event details and calls-to-action in a clear, eye-catching format.

Problem: Each project required visual materials that spoke to very different audiences. Using a one-size-fits-all design approach would risk overshadowing clarity, and the message could be lost.


Solution: I applied audience-centered design principles to create an invitation that captured personality, stationery that upheld event tone and consistency, and a hiring poster that was professional and persuasive.

Marketing Collateral 

Problem: As a startup, MobileIMPACT.AZ needed needed collateral pieces across print and digital platforms, but inconsistent visuals risked weakening brand identity.


Solution: I designed brochures, business cards, and social media posts using unified typography, color palettes, and iconography, which delivered a credible brand presence, boosted client engagement, and supported steady business growth.
